             Charles J. Mikhail was born in Jerusalem to medical missionary parents and raised on the Israeli-occupied West Bank. He is fluent in Arabic and taught Middle East History at Mississippi College. He has practiced law since 1980 and has vast experience handling complex civil litigation. He served as Assistant General Counsel of The Mississippi Bar, Chair of the Committee on Professional Responsibility (lawyer discipline), and Chair of the Ethics Committee.
